The author's work is influenced by the life situations that shaped her from a creative point of view.

Designer and jeweler Maria Kobelova is engaged in the production and design of jewelry made of precious metals, which transcend into free conceptual art. The author's journey led through the metal and jewelry studio at FDULS in Pilsen under the guidance of prof. VK Novák and doc. MA Petr Vogl and subsequently continued through the ceramics studio under the leadership of doc. MgA. Gabriel Vacha.
Maria works in her own studio located at Varšavská 1338/15, Prague 2 - Vinohrady.
As part of custom-made work, she specializes in the production of solitary jewelry, as well as engagement and wedding rings.

Maria Kobelova received the Best Jewelry Collection 2020 Designblok Award for her Euphoria collection and also a nomination for the Czech Grand Design Awards. In 2019, she was also nominated for the same award for the SOFA and Spatula collections. Her porcelain collection Jsem received a nomination in the Polish Graduation projects 2017. She won the competition for the Czech National Culinary Team 2016 with an original porcelain set of dishes and was nominated for Epi vibrating jewelry in the Talente international competition in Munich 2016.
