A sculptural object worn as a private emblem

On a lapel, a jumper, a scarf, or a bag, a brooch carries the same principles as everything else in Maria Kobelova’s work. It begins as a wax model shaped in her hands and grows into an organic form that holds its own as a small wearable sculpture.

We  make our brooches mainly in sterling silver; a 14k gold version is available by arrangement. Brooches also offer unusual room for artistic expression; therefore, Maria welcomes them as a form of dialogue – a space where your inspiration can spark a new, one-of-a-kind creation shaped entirely by her hand and design. The studio in Vinohrady, Prague, is open by appointment.
